HTC and Google surprised us all by launching the stock Android version of the HTC One yesterday. And it now seems like the smartphone might receive the mystery Android 4.3 update just a few weeks after its June 26 launch, according to a tweet sent out by a HTC developer @llabTooFeR. So if the information here is credible, it might be safe to assume that Google is looking to roll out the new update in mid-July. This also means that the Galaxy S4 Google edition along with the barrage of Nexus devices will receive the update during the same time. This is one area where Nexus devices trump every other Android smartphone or tablet.
Confirmed: HTC One Nexus Edition will get 4.3 update few weeks after release.

There’s really no information as to what Android 4.3 will bring to the table besides the camera improvements that we saw in the leak the other day. It is almost obvious however, that there will be more than just camera improvements on board Android 4.3. The authenticity of this info is still not confirmed, so take it with a pinch of salt, as with anything from the rumor mill. This is one of those rumors which can go either way really, so we’ll keep the salt jar at a reachable distance.
Android 5.0 Key Lime Pie has been slated for a September-October release, possibly with the next Nexus smartphone. So that will be something to look forward to as well.
